I think a nice dark Down Pipe, or Mouse's back will be very pretty. Farrow and Ball paint is amazing! I loved your time capsule too, I put a little note under our wood floors, hope it survives.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09022819745626507951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8872712733955065437.post-54660264635346897482014-01-21T15:38:10.105-05:002014-01-21T15:38:10.105-05:00That looks great and, looking at your floors, you ...That looks great and, looking at your floors, you might be have been able to pull off the black walls. They're not as orange as some oak floors are.

I don't expect that you read my blog but I'm building kitchen cabinets out of a 12-foot long antique store counter and because I've had to add new wood in places, I have to paint it. I've spent about a month suffering through all of the grays trying to avoid one with too much blue that might make my chestnut floors look orange. Anyway, I found the perfect one--BM Cape May Cobblestone--which is a beige gray. It looks great with the floor, the stainless steel and the marble but, yawn, it's really boring. Not the statement I was looking for. I think I'm going with black. Or something like Farrow & Ball Down Pipe. I feel like I know color really well but, shit, it's always so hard? I don't know who you can possibly to painting with all those colors when I can't pick a single color for my cabinets. An Urban Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08666212353075804092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8872712733955065437.post-11106831469937640782014-01-21T13:46:02.426-05:002014-01-21T13:46:02.426-05:00I didn't.
