Vintage Flatware
I spent this weekend doing nothing, it was wonderful. Unfortunately now it is Monday and my home is a mess, bummer. I decided to spend some of the gift cards we got for the wedding and Christmas to get some silverware. (I spent a lot of time surfing around for vintage flatware...that counts as nothing right?) I love these vintage ones...mixing and matching and collecting over the years.
I love vintage flatware. The nice thing about a mismatched set is that you can easily replace missing pieces. Am I the only one whose flatware frequently goes missing?
ReplyDeleteThe Chevron stripes are gorgeous. I could have a bottomless drawer of flatwear like that.
ReplyDeleteI love vintage flatware! I have a set of slightly 12 piece (some pieces are missing) placesetting from a priest rectory a few years back.
ReplyDeleteThe Chevron stripe is very pretty. I haven't seen this one before.
Oops I just saw one of the flatwares are from P.O.S.H in Chicago. I love this store. A very neat place to shop. Have you been there before?
ReplyDeleteOh, my aunt had the ones in the middle picture at their summer house, which is the house where my mom grew up. We used to eat the most delicious cakes with these - what a great flashback! I wonder whether they came with the house. I'll ask my mom!
ReplyDeleteI have not been to P.O.S.H, but I sure do enjoy looking online :)
