ReplyDeleteI would look into the Castleberry Hill district. They always have large loft spaces with shared or personal studio space...check craigslist and creative loafing?
Also check with the Art Institute to see if they know of any places off campus. Not sure but hope it helps. I did a google search for "artist studio space for rent" for my mom in Raleigh recently and lots of stuff came up....check ATL there has to be way more than Raleigh.
