ReplyDeletei can totally relate...we ended up in a particularly heated bidding war for our current house. it's no fun.
ReplyDeleteno kidding about window treatments! I can see it both ways. I was willing to fight for the ones that came with our house in CO, but don't you know I'll be fighting to take the with me when we leave!

ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to hear more about the house! Hope everything goes well.
ReplyDeleteAll you need to do about the huge dull windows is to design it and have some window coverings in it like window blinds, shades and curtains. These are great concept to improve and make your house windows colorful and attractive.
ReplyDeleteDraperies and curtains can liven up any space, and putting window treatments in this room would definitely make it more appealing and vibrant. It would be cool, too, if you can also put matching furniture with the draperies.
