I think your next meeting should be in NYC so that I can come, too.
ReplyDeleteDude! that would be so much fun, maybe when we go up for Surtex, we can have a little gathering! Thanks for planting the seed in my brain :)
DeleteI was planning to attend Surtex for the first time in 2014! So, yes and yes!
DeleteWhere the heck are you? Miss you posting.
ReplyDeleteOh dear! I know! I have been in Portland Oregon, and everything got away from me, I am going to post tomorrow ;) thanks for your sweet comment.
DeleteHey Michelle,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Jodie, I've been following your blog for ages so I thought I'd say hi. I love your work and your writing always makes me smile. I am an art therapist and a painter, I was working in a very stressful job and like you experienced being burnt out. Reading about your experience helped me to change my life and I'm now dedicating the majority of my time to making art, so I just wanted to say thanks for sharing.
Jodie, Thank you for your sweet comment! I am so glad that you commented. Its a beautiful thing that we have art therapists in this world, so valuable and indispensable. Thanks for reaching out to say hello. I am touched that my blog was able to help you in any way at all. Sending you a hug :)
