Be the best you

This is speaking to me today. I am thinking about originality, and uniqueness lately. I am thinking about who I want to be and how to become her. Do you ever make mood boards for your life? I may do that, wouldn't it be so great to have a place to project your future goals and dreams visually???

This image would sure be on my mood board. I think I am finally ready to seriously start "The Process" as we call it at home. The daunting tast of diving into the adoption world. First though. Hat shopping, obvi.

  1. It's all a "process" and I sure hope that "The Process" with a capital 'P' goes smoothly for you and O.

  2. I am adopted, and so very thankful I was. I have met both my birth parents and realize now how very fortunate I was to be raised with the parents who adopted me. I always felt like it wasn't that I was given "up", but rather that I was "chosen". May fortune and love shine on your "process".

  4. Ah, love Naomi of Love, Taza! If only all of our future live's as moms could be so effortlessly chic!

Having four adopted siblings (all through foster care), I can say that it has been one of the most amazing experiences and has made me a huge adoption advocate. I'm getting married next year, and my fiance and I are too considering adopting in the future.

Sending prayers your way for peace through this process, and look forward to following your journey. Thank you for sharing!

  6. This may sound totally weird, but I think about your adoption plans often. Being someone who has never wanted children, seeing your desire for a child touches me in a way that maybe all those "accidental" pregnancies don't. I imagine that you will be an amazing mom and I can't wait to get to share in your "process", even as just a spectator.

    1. Ha! No that doesn't sound totally weird, I think I do the same thing with other bloggers too. You know, its strange because we know that we want to be parents, but we are so overwhelmed with how to get there...so we keep stalling. I kinda wish I could have just gotten pregnant so I would have to think so hard about it, but this is obviously my path, so here we go!
