Pimp my sofa
Things are happening!! Ordered rest of cabinets last night (my helper lady was a cool metal smither!) Fridge: BAM, Chimney vent: BAM, paint color: BAMOLA (( BM Woodlawn blue)).
Annnnd, the sofa is already gone to sleep away sofa camp. Camp sofawakawaka is very good at turning your old, ugly sofa (sorry dude, but you really let yourself go...) into a stunning, firm, cellulite free hottie with nice, round, perky.....nail head trim! High fiving a million angels.

The nail heads on that sofa are super stylin'!
ReplyDeleteI firmly believe in the power of a good nailhead. Can't wait to see the "after"!
ReplyDeleteI would love to get some pieces redone and revamped, but I panic at the thought of how much it will run me...or should I say RUIN ME?..I read on another blogger that she paid $1,500 to redo her couch!!..now that's even more than I paid for my couch brand new! lol...
ReplyDeleteGood for you though, your living room is going to look even more beautiful!! ^_^
MeLi, you have to find someone who will offer you better prices! I am paying a third of what your fellow blogger paid, and the quality is top notch!
ReplyDeleteYou are hilarious :D BAM! I wish a bunch of my stuff would go to camp.
ReplyDeleteMay I ask how you went about finding such a person? Because if I had a sofa whisperer...some amazing things could happen.
ReplyDeleteRebecca, I checked out craigslist! I found someone on there that looked like they had great prices, and then contacted a few of the testimonial people (one of them a popular and very chic blogger who is also from Atlanta) and all signs pointed to YES! I searched for upholstered headboards on the CL, so try that.
ReplyDeleteI just made myself the following promise: the next time I receive a bonus or large sum of cash (over 500), I am splurging on a painting.
ReplyDeleteBrew ya! Hmmmm, maybe I shouldn't have gotten rid of Ugly Couch?? Balls.
